On average, we spend
25 years of our life asleep…
I work with organisations across transport, health, emergency services, and other safety-critical industries. If you’re responsible for managing fatigue, safety, or performance at work, I’d love to talk.
A/Prof Grace Vincent
I help organisations turn sleep science into safer, healthier, better-performing workplaces.
My mission is to help Australia’s workers sleep better by designing practical, evidence-based solutions that work in real jobs and real workplaces.
I partner with industry and researchers to design, test, and scale approaches such as fatigue risk management, sleep health programs, and personalised digital tools that support behaviour change.
I’m an Associate Professor at CQUniversity’s Appleton Institute, specialising in applied sleep science for workplace safety and performance.
How I work with organisations
• Fatigue risk management and safer rosters
• Evidence-based sleep and fatigue training
• Personalised digital tools that support behaviour change
• Evaluation of sleep, alertness, and performance outcomes
TAKE A LOOK AT LIFE
AS A SHIFT WORKER
Sleep disruption isn’t just a personal issue — it’s a workplace safety and performance risk.
Meet Jordan, Ashley, Dylan & Tamor.
They are all navigating life as a shift worker.
Take a look at some of the things they were struggling with, these experiences reflect common workplace fatigue challenges.
They visited healthyshiftwork.com.au and now have access to science backed information to help them stay on the path to good health.
“Sleep loss is one of the most expensive side effects of modern work — and one of the least accounted for.”
